Easter Day

Easter Day is a Christian holy day where the miracle of Jesus' resurrection and the sacrifice he made for our sins are remembered.

Even if you aren't a Christian, you can still enjoy a great brunch at the following restaurants that thought he was at least worth menu space.

Des Moines is the cultural center for Iowa, with many museums and entertainment opportunities. The Civic Center of Greater Des Moines often performs Broadway productions. All throughout the month of July, the Metro Arts' Alliance offers free jazz shows to the public. The Salisbury House and Gardens is absolutely beautiful, located on 10 acres of woodland and displaying fine English goods, tapestries, and more. The Great Ape Trust studies primates and offers private tours by reservation. Market Day is a monthly indie craft event.
